CEA-Leti is an applied-research Institute located in Grenoble-France and specialized in micro and nano technologies. The ‘Optic and Photonic Department’ develops technologies in the field of lighting, display, sensing, imaging and communications. The department is integrated over the whole development cycle (Design, Fabrication and Tests), from the material (Si, Ge, III-V) to devices and circuit fabrication (200mm/8’’ CMOS fab, 100mm/4’’ III-V fab), packaging and test. In addition to Leti’s 1,700 employees, there are more than 250 students involved in research activities, which makes Leti a mainspring of innovation expertise.
